Hayley is a Certified Practising Speech Pathologist who graduated with Honours from The University of Queensland. She is a senior speech pathologist with over seven years of experience supporting preschool and school-aged children with a range of speech, language and literacy needs.

Hayley can help children with:

• Forming sentences, or telling stories (e.g. about their day) that make sense

• Using the correct grammar

• Building vocabulary 

• Learning to read and spell to improve learning

• Speaking clearly so others can understand

• Late talking (learning first words, giving parents strategies to help toddlers begin speaking)

Hayley has worked in private practice since 2023, providing individualised, evidence-based assessment and therapy to children and families.

Hayley is committed to ongoing professional development and keeping her practice informed by current evidence. Her recent training includes Evidence-Based Interventions & Strategies for Children with Developmental Language Disorder (DLD), the Sounds-Write Systematic Synthetic Phonics Programme, and the Nuffield Dyspraxia Programme for Childhood Apraxia of Speech.

Hayley has a particular interest in speech sound development and literacy, including reading and writing. She takes a calm, warm and child-centred approach to therapy and values building strong relationships with children and their families. Hayley works collaboratively with families, schools and other health professionals to support children’s communication, participation and learning across settings.
